Good quality for decades.

Acropolis was my favorite restaurant. For some time now, the taste of food has changed for the worse. And I can judge it after over 30 years. I went back last week, but my opinion was only confirmed once. The portion was also very small. I took food with me. The main actor, the meat, was very little. Rice was more than usual and onions were probably the new side dish. Just too much of it. Unfortunately, the tzaziki was not the way I had got to know him over the years. Too bad. But the ambience is very nice and all the employees are really nice.

Food, service and ambience as always top. We especially like the flair and the furnishings as they used to be. Better than all the modern stirilen white restaurants everywhere !!

Great Greek restaurant. I can only recommend it! The decor is traditional from the 70s, but simply better compared to other Greeks. The card is great. Great quality and reasonable prices. Off to the Acropolis!

The service and the food were bad underground. No matter who served us, everyone was arrogant and rude. It was supposed to be a "thank you dinner" for my sister and brother-in-law, but unfortunately that was a failure. NEVER AGAIN

Good service, very tasty food at reasonable prices

Picked up food at the Acropolis for years (lamb chops and grill plates). The portions are big enough. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated. Some are small things, but: the salad dressing was tasteless m.o.w, there was also no (usual) olive on it; compared to earlier there was also no blob of zaziki on the menu plates, which is not insignificant in terms of taste when it comes to the grill dish. The fact that there is no Uzo in the pick-up service is acceptable, at least in the past people were asked whether they wanted one. Advantage: free parking space 30 m away and a few outdoor tables available. Furnishing, as already described by others, for decades in keeping with style, but investments after half a year of foreclosure in Burgdorf and now Corona is understandable and not necessary. PS: I didn't find a menu (homepage) on the Internet.

The dishes in the cult restaurant of Burgdorf are always simply delicious. In addition, the service is always very friendly, you just always feel very comfortable in the restaurant and the quality of the dishes is always excellent.

We had baked the acropolis plate and lamb in tomato sauce with feta, the lamb was a poem !!! ❤❤ It was very full, which is to be expected with the good food, but it quickly became a table for the two of us. Nice boss, very charming service and therefore very satisfied guests! Thank you Akropolis and team 🥰

Food is delicious. Prices good, service was nice. Real greek. You can sit well and talk. We were pretty much alone but nobody pushed for work.

This is a Greek restaurant, which is run in a second-generation open mall built in the 1970s. The decor is accordingly a bit older. The landlord was friendly and the food tasted good. The price-performance ratio is overall okay. We missed the ouzo usual at traditional Greek restaurants at the expense of the house.

Acropolis is probably Burgdorf's oldest Greek, yes and you can tell that even when you stand in front of it. Nothing has changed you here for 20 years. The old timeless but rustic furnishings fit very well into the overall picture, and here too, no floodlights are used. So cozy and quaint. Service: * hm * Basically everyone was nice at least the men. The young lady behind the counter seemed in a bad mood. Which is why I don't criticize them too badly. Just a hello and goodbye to young people. The food: As a starter there was a salad with yogurt dressing, now nothing special. We still had fried peppers with Knobi which we liked very much. The main dishes were all plates with Suzuki, Lam chops, liver, neck steak, Zuzuki, gyros, fries etc. etc. The 4 what was immediately in my eye a lot of herb butter !? That doesn't belong there. Zaziki or Metaxa sauce should already be there. Especially when homemade herb butter and not bought. So order Zaziki Extra otherwise too dry. The lamb chops were really great and tender. With gyros you can do well with "OK". Life is nothing special. Liver and neck were ok too. However, the Suzukis were too dry, which is the case with every Greek. Zuzuki: No, that's not mine here. Far too much spice and there is caraway with ... absolute no go for me. Conclusion: You can eat here, quality is good, service is good, but there are only 4 stars. Without a sauce or zaziki for a meat plate is not mine. French fries and rice shouldn't be optional, but both must be on top. Ok for us but not a must have.
